A qualified expert with over 15 years experience in Service, Provider Networking & Software Solutions from both a design and implementation perspective.
Over 12 years experience in regional next-generation architectures, services, and solutions for Fixed and Mobile Operators.His pervasive experience contributes extensively towards his ability of running large scale Information and Communications Technology projects, and towards designing and developing service provider and enterprise networks.
For the past 3 years, Khaled has been actively leading & contributing to neXgen Advisory Group engagements around Telco, IT/Data-Center, Converged ICT/BMS, and Smart-City services, covering the following areas;
- Service benchmarking, service definition & development
- Service delivery/operational models and financial viability analysis
- Technology master-planning, architecture, and specifications development
- Vendor assessment and technology-strategy implementation oversight
Prior to neXgen, Khaled carried out senior positions within Cisco, Juniper and Alcatel in the Middle-East and North America. With Cisco, he promoted and applied solutions and technologies for Fixed and Mobile Service Providers in the GCC and the Middle-East. Prior to Cisco, Khaled was responsible for technical sales around next-generation network solutions and services for Fixed and Mobile Service Providers in the GCC and the Middle-East for Juniper Networks as a Senior Engineer. Prior to Juniper, he was a Senior Consultant for Getronics Middle East where he led technical sales and delivery engagements for professional services around Service Provider national backbone networks and Enterprise ICT infrastructures. With Alcatel USA, Khaled was a Software Architect with responsibilities for software development for Alcatel networking solutions, targeting North American mobile operators.
Khaled graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann-Arbor, United States with a Masters of Science & Engineering. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer & Communications Engineering with a minor in Applied Mathematics.
